We make a home cooked lunch every week for the elderly living independently in our community, and also including residents of the local care home Watford House in New Mills. All are welcome. £5 per person.

Youth Matters CIC provides support, services and opportunities for young and disadvantaged members of our local community. Our approach involves the collaboration with other community groups and event organisers to make best use of local skills, resources, and third party services. It is at the heart of our organisation to make these services as affordable as possible, if not completely free, and to be accessible to all. We also offer support to young people at risk of entering, or who have actually entered, the Criminal Justice System, through boxing classes and mentoring schemes.
